PG and Research Department of English

About the department:

The PG and Research Department of English is successfully progressing with qualified teaching faculty members and well-talented students from 2008. The research programme had its inception from 2011. The students are keenly monitored to exhibit their academic extracurricular potentials, by spreading the literary fragrances by the legendary journal from tradition to modern literature. The Department focuses on imparting knowledge to the young minds. It also provides a friendly atmosphere and helps students to develop their self-confidence and leadership qualities that transform them into responsible citizens through English literary association and also by conducting Seminars, Workshops, Competitions, Literary Exhibition, etc.

Facilities

Language Lab:

  • The Language laboratory is a technological break for imparting skills in English. The language laboratory offers an exclusive result oriented and efficient training to enrich the English Language Learning Process.
  • The Language lab serves as a center to develop LSRW skills, in building Confidence, ability and self esteem in creating a feeling of self-worth.
  • The Language lab is furnished with Computer work station, Professional Microphones, Projector and White board.

Library:      

  • Library is not merely an depository of books, but an active workshop instrument in the production of original thinking.
  • Pg English department possess library of its own. A part from department library the students and the faculty members also use the central library of the college. These libraries are wonderful assets as it delivers and amplifies digital and literacy information.
  • They provide online and print resources to support critical, creative and collaborative thinking.
  • The library has a suit of computers that are frequently used by both faculty members and students to deliver lessons in all subjects.
  • Each student is encouraged to utilize the resources in the library during morning break time , lunch break time and in library hours.

Everywhere business is conducted, ethical matters.
The students were given an insight on meaning and significance of ethics in organizational communication, ethical communication strategies in organizations, and measures to reinforce ethics in organizational communication.
The session also focus on the needs to focus upon the measures to reinforce ethics within homes, educational institutions, organizations and other places.
