Hostel

Hostel Admission

  • 1. Application for admission to hostel shall be made in the prescribed form which can be had from the Hostel Office
  • 2. Every student before being admitted to the hostel shall give an undertaking in writing, endorsed by the parents that she will be abide by the rules and regulations of the hostel.
  • 3. Allotment of rooms shall be made by the Warden under the orders of Dean of students affairs.
  • 4. Students must occupy the rooms allotted to them and should not change/exchange rooms without prior permission from the Hostel Authorities
  • 5. The attendance in the hostel will be taken at 6.00PM.

A Safe & Secured Hostel with AC & Non AC rooms is available to create a feel of a Home away from Home. The Students are provided with hygienic food. A spacious aura with green environment makes them a comfortable stay.

Hostel Rules & Regulations

The primary objective of establishing hostels for girls of Shri Sakthikailassh Women's College is to provide students a Home away from their Home. The hostels are built in an environment that certainly provides self-confidence and instills discipline in the minds of students. They can feel at ease and put in their best in academics. The hostel ambience provides scope for developing harmonious communal living and enables them to share the joys of fellowship and professional fraternity. Everyone should uphold the dignity and self-respect of every other student in the hostel. Inmates are expected to utilize the best infrastructure facilities and uphold the reputation of the hostel as well as the institute.

  • Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the hostel
  • Day scholars and other students are not allowed into the hostel
  • Inmates are not expected to stay in the hostel during college working hours. If they have to stay back in the hostel during that period they have to obtain permission from the warden
  • Cases of illness and sickness should immediately reported to the resident warden/warden for necessary action
  • Attendance for inmates will be taken at 9.00 pm.
  • Inmates are allowed to visit her native place once in a month
  • Inmates should not arrange any function or meeting or gathering within hostel without permission from authorities
  • Inmates are responsible for proper use of building furniture and other accessories. Any loss or damage to the hostel property should be borne by the inmates
  • Members should not stick any posters/papers or write on the walls of the hostel.
  • Inmates are strictly forbidden from using personal gadgets like immersion heaters, hot plates, electric irons etc. However appliances like personal Laptop are given permission on specific request.
  • Inmates should always keep their belongings under lock & key and also lock their rooms whenever they go out.
  • Strict discipline should be maintained in the dining and common places in the hostel.
  • Inmates participating in college or department activities should obtain necessary order from the concerned authorities to leave the hostel
  • Apart from the above any other rule enforced by the Principal/Warden from time to time should be strictly followed by the inmates
