About the department:
The Department of Biotechnology was established in the year 2006. Biotechnology is a field of science that has been evolving rapidly, offering innovative solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time. At our college we recognize the improtance of keeping our students and community informed about the latest developments in biotechnology. As we move forward the potential for biotechnolog to address the challenges of the future and improve the quality of life.

Facilities
The department has well furnished air conditioned lab with Computer System, ELISA Reader, PCR, UV Spectrophotometer, UV Transilluminator Soxhlet Apparatus, low & high speed centrifuge, laminar air flow chamber/wood, binocular microscope, digital colony counter, hot air oven, autoclave and water bath etc.
