ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Call for special meetings, determine agenda for meetings; preside over meetings as chair.
  • Coordinate all committees and their activities and be responsible for the overall direction of the organization and the conduct of the work of its members and committees.
  • Support resource development for the college in all possible ways.
  • Encourage collaboration with other organizations.
  • Long term Planning.
  • Formulation of HR policy.
  • Amend and Approve policies from time to time.
  • Policy decision regarding quality maintenance in teaching-learning, research and development activities.
  • Approval of vision, mission of the Institution.
  • Approval of PSOs, POs, and COs of all departments.
  • Review of academic performance of the institution and suggest remedial measures.
  • Regulating financial management systems.
  • Review of Audit Reports, Financial accounts and budget.
  • Framing administrative policies for the institution and delegating powers and responsibilities according to vision, mission and long-range policies for effective faculty, student and Management coordination.
