Board of Studies

The Board of Studies (BoS) is a pivotal academic body in our College, responsible for curriculum development, syllabus revision, and ensuring academic excellence. The BoS plays a crucial role in shaping the academic framework, ensuring that our students receive a dynamic, industry-ready, and globally competitive education. It comprises experienced faculty members, subject experts, industry professionals, and alumni who work collaboratively to keep our academic programs relevant and up-to-date.

Functions of Board of Studies

  • Designing and updating the syllabus in alignment with industry needs and emerging trends.
  • Ensuring, the curriculum meets the requirements of higher education and competitive exams
  • Integrating skill-based and value-added courses for holistic student development.
  • Reviewing academic programs and suggesting improvements for quality enhancement.
  • Encouraging research, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning.

The composition of the board of studies :

  • 1. Head of the department concerned (Chairperson)
  • 2. Other members of the department
  • 3. Two experts in the subject from outside the college nominated by the Academic Council
  • 4. One expert to be nominated by the Vice - Chancellor from a panel of six members recommended by the college Principal.
  • 5. One Expert from the Industry/Corporate Sector.
  • 6. One post-graduate meritorious alumnus nominated by the Principal
  • 7. One Student Representative UG and one from PG.
